Police are investigating a double stabbing near Twinbrook Metro

According to police radio transmissions, police are searching for one or more suspects in a double knife attack in the area of ​​Twinbrook Station in Rockville on Sunday afternoon.

According to police radio transmissions, police and Montgomery County Fire and EMS crews were dispatched to the Metro station at 5:29 p.m. for a report of a man who had been stabbed in the back. Additional resources were subsequently dispatched to report another stabbing attack at 1560 Rockville Pike at 5:33 p.m

One victim was bleeding profusely from his back but was alert and conscious. According to radio transmissions, the suspect walked up behind the victim and stabbed him and did not attempt to rob him.

According to police radio transmissions, at least one victim was taken to Suburban Hospital in Bethesda.
