Hezbollah drone survivor says he couldn’t escape attack – Israel News

“It came upon us out of nowhere. There was no escape.”

That’s what a victim who was treated at Rabin Medical Center-Beilinson Campus said Sunday night.

“Earlier there was an explosion without a siren,” he said. “There were then three warnings to prepare for impact. There were so many people of us, I can’t even count how many. It came upon us out of nowhere. There was no way to escape. Many people were injured. I cannot describe in words what happened because it is tragic.

Another victim of the incident, who sustained minor injuries and is hospitalized at Hillel Yaffe Hospital, recounted the horrific event.

“We heard a huge explosion, the whole place was moving, we quickly realized it was a missile or UAV crash,” the victim said. “People started screaming in pain, the place was covered in blood. We were afraid of another attack, but it was more important to save the wounded – so we did that.”

It is unclear how many were injured

These were just two of the 67 injured in a Hezbollah UAV attack from Lebanon on Israel’s Binyamina territory on Sunday evening.
