Sirianni was widely criticized for his decision to lead the Eagles to 2-2 this season.

There is speculation that Sirianni’s tenure as head coach of the Eagles may be coming to an end.

The Philadelphia head coach made headlines before the game when he unveiled a new haircut.

Social media exploded with pictures of Sirianni and his shaved head. NFL fans were ruthless with their captions.

The headlines don’t stop for the Eagles head coach in 2024. Several fans speculated that the dynamic between Sirianni and his quarterback Jalen Hurts was about to boil over.

However, the couple insisted on giving the impression that their relationship was doing well.

“We’re the two leaders of the team,” Hurts told NBC Sports earlier this week. “I’m happy and fortunate that we were able to come together in harmony and have the same goal in mind and try to make things right. I have a lot of confidence in him, a lot of confidence in what he brings to the table and everything.” He did it.

“Just keep sticking with it. Everyone goes through different moments, everyone experiences adversity, but we have experienced different adversities together. We’re excited about what’s to come.”

Former Jets head coach Robert Saleh became the first head coach to be fired during the 2024 season.

Saleh’s departure from the New York franchise came as a shock to several Jets players. Saleh was not allowed to speak to the team until he was escorted out of the building by security.

Before the Week 6 matchup, Sirianni said he wasn’t worried about the future of his job.

“Anything that is out of your control or occupies your mind and doesn’t focus on not getting better is a waste of time,” Sirianni said.

“It just dulls the process… if you focus on things you can’t control, that’s going to dull the hunger and the drive to get better.”

“So that’s all we’re thinking about. You can probably say, “Oh, that’s coach talk.” I’m not kidding you. That’s how I lived, that’s how I operated. It’s you. It’s your habits, and that’s how I’ve operated for a lot of my life.”

Depending on the outcome of the Week 6 game, Sirianni could be out of work on Monday.
