Two seriously injured in ATV accident while dodging deer in Pulaski County

Two people were seriously injured after their ATV crashed while avoiding a deer in Pulaski County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s online accident report states that the accident occurred on Highway E near Highway 17 at 11:40 p.m. Saturday.

Tracy Perkins, 50, of Laquey, Missouri, was driving the Honda ATV westbound when she swerved to avoid the deer.

She and her passenger, Kaci McNabb, 27, of Springfield, were ejected from the ATV.

Emergency responders flew Perkins to Cox Springfield for treatment of his serious injuries.

McNabb was also driven to Mercy Lebanon with serious injuries.
