A fatal shooting in Brooklyn Park leaves one person dead and police are investigating

BROOKLYN PARK – Brooklyn Park police are investigating after a man died from a gunshot overnight.

The shooting happened around 4:30 a.m. Saturday morning near the 7900 block of Lee Ave North. Police responded to the shooting call. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds.

The police initiated life-saving measures, but the man died at the scene of the accident.

Police are investigating the shooting.
