1 dead in crash in northwest Las Vegas | Local Las Vegas

The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash in northwest Las Vegas.

The accident between a passenger vehicle and a commercial food truck occurred around 10:08 a.m. at the 215 Beltway and the eastbound exit in Durango, troopers said in a news release.

The eastbound Durango exit will be closed for several hours due to the investigation, and the northbound and southbound lanes toward Durango will also be temporarily closed.

Drivers are advised to use alternative routes.
