LaGrange police are investigating a bank robbery on North Greenwood St.

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – LaGrange Police are asking the public for information about a bank robbery on North Greenwood St.

According to LPD, police responded to 200 North Greenwood Street shortly before 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, in reference to a bank robbery.

They said an initial investigation revealed that a male subject entered the bank, approached the teller, presented a note and demanded money. The man then stole an undisclosed amount of US dollars before fleeing the scene.

The man was described as follows:

• 45 to 50 years old
• 6 feet tall
• Weighing approximately 220 pounds
• Wears a baseball cap, medical face mask, sunglasses, gloves, blue button-down shirt, blue pants and dark shoes.
