Cyclist seriously injured in car crash in Brooklyn

An investigation is underway after a car accident in Brooklyn that seriously injured a bicyclist on Evergreen Avenue

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK (October 11, 2024) – A 26-year-old bicyclist was seriously injured in a car accident in Brooklyn along Evergreen Avenue.

New York City officials say the accident occurred around 2:45 a.m. Saturday. A cyclist was traveling on the road when he was hit by a black Toyota.

Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene to assist the victim. He was taken to Kings County Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A full investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
