The shooting occurred before Bay Road was closed

KOCHVILLE TWP, Mich. (WNEM) – The Saginaw County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed it received multiple reports of a shooting on Bay Road near Tittabawassee on Friday evening at 7:21 p.m.

Undersheriff Mike Gomez told TV5 that one car was shooting at another. He said two vehicles were hit by gunfire but no injured victims were found at the scene.

Gomez said the sheriff’s office has no information on any suspects at this time.

About 20 minutes after the shooting, Saginaw County 911 Central Dispatch reported that Bay Road between Tittabawassee and Bueker was closed due to a “priority incident.” At 8:08 a.m. the central control center reported that the road had been reopened.

There are dozens of shops and restaurants in the busy area. This particular stretch of Bay Road runs from Kohl’s to right in front of Aldi.
