Apple TV+s shrinkage with Jason Segel, Harrison Ford and Jessica Williams returns in mid-October for all feelings big and small.

The show, created by Bill-Lawrence, was renewed for another episode before all episodes of the first season aired in 2023. Some changes, including the addition of a guest star, will spice up Season 2 after Season 1 ended with a sense of closure, but more threads are also to come.

In Season 1 of the dramedy show, Jimmy was introduced as a grieving widower who had just lost his wife. He is also a therapist, but one day he gets tired of compassion and empathy as his normal way of treating patients and starts interfering more in their personal lives. Paul, his boss and mentor, who suffers from Parkinson’s disease, tries to warn Jimmy about this, but Jimmy doesn’t really listen. Jimmy is also working on building a better relationship with his daughter Alice, a high school student who enjoys playing soccer. Jimmy took in one of his patients, Sean (Luke Tennie), whose parents asked him to move out because he kept getting into fights and going to prison. Paul and Jimmy’s colleague Gaby (Jessica Williams) divorced and she and Jimmy began sleeping together at the end of the first season. Jimmy also rekindled his friendship with Brian (Michael Urie) last season, ahead of Brian’s wedding to Charlie (Devin Kawaoka). .
