NOW: Police at the scene of a shooting on Columbia Pike

Arlington County police are investigating shootings along Columbia Pike.

The shooting happened just before midnight on Friday evening. Initial reports indicate that several shots were fired during a fight between a large group of teenagers near the intersection of S. Taylor Street and Pike, a block or two west of the Harris Teeter store.

There were no reports of injuries at the time of publication.

A large police operation is on site, interviewing witnesses and looking for potential suspects.
