Man found dead near highway near Moapa, identified | Murders

The Metropolitan Police Department said the body was found around 7:30 a.m. Sunday along I-15 near Hidden Valley Road, south of Moapa, and appeared to have trauma and gunshot wounds. The following Wednesday, investigators presented a sketch of the then-unidentified man and asked the public for help.

In a news release, police said the man has now been identified as 66-year-old Russell Vinton, who was reported missing in Jacob Lake, Arizona.
