Barricade in Davie ends with man in custody, police say – NBC 6 South Florida

A man was arrested after several officers surrounded a home in Davie on Friday in response to an armed, barricaded person.

Aerial photos showed the scene near Stirling Road and Northwest 42nd Court.

Police said they alerted the home after a serious assault was reported.

When they got there, a woman was taken to the hospital, but police said the man inside the home refused to come out.

Negotiators arrived at the scene and he was taken into custody.

The police are still investigating.
