18-year-old arrested for child sexually abusive material

MARQUETTE COUNTY, Mich. (WLUC) – The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit and the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force have announced the arrest of an 18-year-old man for child sexually abusive material – aggravated possession one Using computers to commit a crime.

Andrew Jack Prosser was arrested following an investigation that was launched when it emerged he was viewing files containing child sexually abusive material online.

The MSP says a search of his residence led to the seizure of digital evidence.

Prosser was charged with 10 counts of child sexual abuse – aggravated possession and 10 counts of using a computer to commit a felony. Prosser was arraigned Thursday in 96th District Court.

Prosser has a preliminary hearing scheduled for 1:30 a.m. Oct. 30
