Woman recalls tragic story after relative dies at Perth cinema while watching The Godfather

A Perth woman has recalled the horrific moment her husband’s aunt died while watching the classic film The Godfather.

The Nathan, Nat and Shaun show discussed the release of horror film Terrifier 3 after two Perth moviegoers fainted while watching it.

“Have you ever been physically or psychologically traumatized by a movie?” the hosts ask the woman after she calls.

What the woman said next stunned the hosts.

“It was actually my husband’s aunt who was responsible,” she begins.

“It was many years ago when The Godfather came out… and there’s a scene where there’s a horse’s head in a bed.

“She had a panic attack, an asthma attack and literally died in the theater.”

All the hosts were completely shocked.

“Died?” They said together, “So the Godfather killed her?”
