Delhi Police nabbed a sniper wanted in multiple criminal cases

New Delhi: Delhi Police have arrested a 37-year-old sharpshooter who was wanted in several criminal cases, officials said on Friday. The accused, identified as Aiman, a resident of Bhalswa Dairy area, has been declared an offender by a court in Punjab, they added.

“Aiman was involved in nine criminal cases including extortion, attempted murder and under the Arms Act. He worked as a sniper for a notorious gangster,” said Satish Kumar, deputy commissioner of police (crime). Acting on a tip-off, police arrested Aiman from a rented accommodation in Bhalswa Dairy area, the DCP said.
