Man sentenced to 20 years for stabbing in Sing Sing Prison in 1995

The unsolved stabbing case at Sing Sing Prison has finally been solved after almost 30 years.

Allah-Son-Allah, 54, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for the fatal knife attack on 32-year-old Michael Jones in 1995.

Both men were incarcerated at Sing Sing Correctional Facility in Ossining.

Prosecutors say Son-Allah was part of the Five-Percent Nation, a black nationalist group influenced by Islam.

According to prosecutors, members of the group within Sing Sing voted to stab Jones on Christmas Eve because he was wearing a cross.
