Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 owners are ready to get Wear OS 5 soon – as the Google Pixel Watch is still having issues

As the best Android smartwatches race to bring Android’s Wear OS 5 update to older generations of devices, developments are mixed, meaning the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 launch is imminent. Not so for older Pixel Watch owners, who may have to wait a long time.

This week Samsung released its seventh One UI 6 beta update for the Galaxy Watch 6. As Android Police noted, it’s the beta program’s first update in almost a month, but could indicate a stable build of the One UI 6 watch is almost ready for release on the older Samsung Galaxy Watch models.
