A serious two-vehicle crash occurred on October 10, 2024 at approximately 4:10 p.m. on northbound Interstate 35 near the 102.7 mile marker, approximately three miles south of Eagleville, Missouri.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2015 Chevrolet Suburban driven by 37-year-old Holly K. Richardson of Eagleville, Missouri, collided with the rear of a 2021 Freightliner tractor driven by 42-year-old Wol M. Bol of Lenexa , Kansas. Both vehicles were traveling north at the time of the accident.

The Freightliner came to a controlled stop on the right shoulder without any damage being reported. However, the Suburban left the west side of the roadway, entered the median and came to rest on its wheels facing southeast.

Richardson, who was wearing a seatbelt, suffered serious injuries in the accident. She was transported by Life Flight Eagle to Truman Medical Center. Bol, who was also wearing a seatbelt, was not injured.

The Chevrolet Suburban was totaled and was towed from the scene by Schroff’s Tow, while the Freightliner was driven away from the scene.
