One killed, another injured in Borough Park attack as NYPD searches for suspects

The NYPD says it is searching for two suspects in connection with a ShopRite attack that left one person dead on Sept. 18. According to police, Francisco Corocoj, 25, and Manuel Perez, 49, approached two homeless people outside the ShopRite in Borough Park with metal pipes and a baseball bat. One of the victims, 42, survived and suffered cuts and bruises to his head and body. The other victim, 38, suffered pain and swelling in his legs and stomach.
