40-year-old man has been sexually abusing his daughter for 4 years

Chhatarpur: In a shocking incident, a 40-year-old man is alleged to have sexually abused his 21-year-old daughter for over four years. The horrific incident was reported from Chhatarpur district in Madhya Pradesh. The police are currently searching for the perpetrator after his wife and daughter filed a complaint against him.

A case has been lodged against the 40-year-old man for allegedly raping his daughter for over four years in Chhatarpur district, an official said.

“We have launched a manhunt to arrest the accused, who had fled after his wife and their 21-year-old daughter lodged a complaint at Lavkush Nagar police station this morning, police said.

Police have registered a rape case against him under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act as the man had allegedly raped his daughter since she was below 18 years old.

The SP said teams have been formed to arrest the man.
