Heather Dubrow shares health update after ‘scary’ mammogram

“My risk factor has skyrocketed, which is scary,” Heather explained in a recent interview at Bravo headquarters. “Literally the radiologist said to me, ‘Listen, if we find it, we’ll catch it early.’ And it’s like you don’t want to hear something like that.

Heather went on to explain that she was particularly surprised about the appointment because, “I go there every year, Terry.” [Dubrow]He’s on staff at this hospital, and that’s how it usually is [the radiologist] comes out and she says, ‘Hey, it’s great!’ See you next year.’ And that was a change and scary because it just affected two family members.”

It’s been several months since the mammogram, so Heather continued to share how she’s doing now.

“As I sit right now, I’m a healthy person,” Heather said. “But it’s concerning to figure out what kind of tests I should do to make sure I stay that way.”

Why was Heather Dubrow mad at her teammates after her mammogram?

Fans may remember that Heather was upset when Jennifer Pedranti, Gina Kirschenheiter and Shannon Storms Beador apparently didn’t ask her about her mammogram results. How she put it on in a confessional RHOC“The only reason I wanted to take these girls for mammograms was because I was worried about them. So does it hurt my feelings that no one is worried about me? Yes, it is disturbing.”

During her interview at Bravo HQ, Heather shed new light on her reaction.

“I think I was so shocked by this news that it made me sad that the girls didn’t just ask. We sat in the room and they, all three of them, literally asked, ‘Are you OK? Are you okay?’ OK? Are you all right?’ and no one reached out to me,” Heather recalled. “And I was like, ‘This is so fucked up.’ Like, why wouldn’t anyone just ask?”

Fast forward to the conversation about Heather’s feelings in London. “My God, they just turned on me. At some point it would be nice if I said something and one of the girls said, ‘Wow, yeah, should have asked. This is so fucked up,’” Heather said. “It’s been overlooked at the moment, but if someone points it out to you, just say something.”
