Indian police officers investigate shooting after gunshot victim was taken to hospital

Investigators were seeking information about a shooting that occurred Thursday afternoon in Indio.

They confirmed to News Channel 3 that a person was admitted to JFK Hospital with a gunshot wound around 4 p.m

The person’s condition is critical but stable.

Indian Police officials said the victim was uncooperative with the investigation, but investigators determined the shooting occurred in the area of ​​Daisy Street and Garden Avenue.

Officers who arrived on scene said they found evidence that the shooting had occurred.
