Jackie Chan’s Project A Collection arrives on 4K UHD and Blu-ray on October 15th from 88 Films and MVD Entertainment Group

Two action classics from Jackie Chan Hong Kong, Project A (1983) and Project A: Part II (1987) will be available in The Project A Collection in a four-disc 4K Ultra HD (plus Blu-ray) combo pack and a two-disc Blu-ray set on October 15 from 88 Films and MVD Entertainment Group .

In the lead role, Jackie Chan plays a swashbuckling turn-of-the-century coast guard on the trail of murderous pirates, smugglers and loose cops (rush hour) treats its audience to an action-packed cinema experience.

In Project ADragon Ma (Chan) is a lieutenant in the 19th century Hong Kong Marines. With the support of corrupt authorities, pirates terrorize local waters. Dragon Ma hopes to defeat the evil pirate clan led by Sanpao (Dick Wei), but his plan fails. Then Ma teams up with a navy admiral (Hak Suen Lau), a police captain Tzu (Biao Yuen) and a cunning thief (Sammo Hung) in a new round of high seas battles with Sanpao and his pirates.

In Project A: Part IICorrupt police inspector Chun (David Lam) has become the most powerful police officer in Hong Kong by staging high-profile arrests of criminals and gangsters with whom he is in cahoots. The British authorities know that Chun is a dirty cop, but have been unable to penetrate his inner circle. Enter fearless and incorruptible military police officer “Dragon Ma” Yun (Chan), who returns to his hometown to pose as Chun’s new right-hand man and hunt down both cops and criminals.
