Missing Child Emergency Alert for 12-year-old boy who disappeared in Bayou La Batre

State authorities issued an emergency missing child alert Thursday evening for a 12-year-old boy who disappeared this morning in Bayou La Batre.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, which issued the alert, Kaiden Vail, 12, was last seen around 10 a.m. Thursday near South Wintzell Avenue in Bayou La Batre.

Kaiden was last seen wearing khaki pants, a red shirt and possibly a blue jacket.

He was described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing about 100 pounds, with hazel eyes and blonde or strawberry blonde hair.

Anyone with information about Kaiden’s whereabouts was asked to call Bayou La Batre police at 251-824-2757 or 911.
