2 trapped in accident at Industrial Highway and Wanamaker Avenue

At 5:05 p.m. Thursday, a serious crash occurred on the Industrial Highway at Wanamaker Avenue in Tinicum Township.

Due to a police pursuit in the area, police were immediately on scene and summoned paramedics and firefighters. According to radio reports, they reported two people trapped in the wreckage, which also indicated that there were other injuries.

The doctors were asked to hurry up.

An accident reconstruction team was asked to respond.

The rescue was completed at 5:25 p.m. A short time later, paramedics were on their way to Crozer-Chester Medical Center.

Further details were not yet available.
