Man allegedly commits robbery and assault to steal phone and SUV

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) – A Felts Mills man is accused of forcibly stealing a cell phone and an SUV.

According to Watertown police, 30-year-old Cody Davis and three others allegedly punched and kicked the victim in the face and chest, causing broken ribs, and stole a Samsung phone and a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox.

The alleged incident occurred on October 5th. Davis was arrested Wednesday and charged with third-degree assault, second-degree robbery and fourth-degree grand larceny.

He was scheduled to be arraigned Monday morning in Watertown Municipal Court.
