Hallsville Man Arrested on Multiple Child Sexual Abuse Charges – EastTexasRadio.com

Texas Child Protective Services contacted Harrison County Sheriff’s investigators about a minor victim being improperly photographed. Shortly thereafter, Terrell police alerted CID to a cyber tip from the North Texas Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce indicating the possible exploitation of a child in Harrison County. The investigation led to the arrest of 43-year-old Kevin Forrest Barnett of Hallsville. Further investigation led to additional charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child being filed against Barnett. His bail was set at $400,000.
