Dylan O’Brien has entertained us with his action-packed films and breathtaking storylines. However, the actor recently expressed his safety concerns on the sets of a famous film.

Speaking to Men’s Health, the acclaimed star discussed his time on the set of The Maze Runner: The Death Cure and how he sustained serious injuries in a serious accident during filming.

O’Brien also explained how his concerns were neglected and how some young and fresh actors are treated on film sets.

For those who don’t know, it was in 2016 when Dylan O’Brien was filming the third part of the famous Maze Runner series when he was dragged off the roof of a moving vehicle. The actor was pulled unexpectedly, was wearing a seatbelt and even hit another vehicle.

Since then, Dylan O’Brien has held his own on the set of films, as he mentioned in an interview with the broadcaster. The “Saturday Night” star even described a film set as “very commonplace” where young actors are checked. When someone from the new crew voices their concerns, they are met with words like, “Oh, don’t be difficult.” Don’t be a nuisance. Or complain; “Are you difficult?” O’Brien explained.

He then added: “Don’t be manipulated into thinking this is difficult because when I look at that day I know I was a 24-year-old boy who raised concerns about the way we were approaching things .” .”

The Love and Monsters actor also added that his words and concerns were not respected and he then had to deal with the life-changing injury.

Speaking further to the channel, Dylan O’Brien mentioned that all he learned from this incident was that on film sets, you are only responsible for yourself and are the only person you can rely on.

After the major incident that the Ponyboi actor faced on the sets of Maze Runner: The Death Cure, he starred in American Assasin, which became his first project since the accident.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter in 2017, O’Brien mentioned that it was a difficult time for him after the accident and also called the film he made with Michael Keaton a “personal” project.

The actor has worked with several big names in the Hollywood film industry including Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn, Rose Byrne, Mark Wahlberg, Kurt Russell and Kate Hudson.
