Spring, TX – A motorcyclist named Steven Cruz was killed after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle on the Grand Parkway on Friday, according to a police report.

The fatal accident occurred on Friday, October 4, 2024, at approximately 2 p.m. in the 4800 block of State Highway 99 (Grand Parkway).

According to police, Cruz was traveling westbound on Highway 99 and kept weaving through traffic.

According to authorities, Cruz failed to make a safe left turn and crashed into the left rear of a black Expedition that was towing a motor home. Cruz was thrown from the motorcycle and hit by a second vehicle.

Cruz was killed in the collision.

Highway 99 was closed for several hours, leaving traffic all the way to I-45.
