Horror comedy series Scare Tactics returns to TV – Indianapolis News | Indiana Weather | Indiana traffic

“Scare Tactics” is a reboot of the classic comedy-horror series, reimagined by Jordan Peele and Monkeypaw Productions.

The show turns unsuspecting people into the main characters of their very own horror films.

Hosted by Flip, a ghostly teenager obsessed with horror films and fascinated by human fear, he creates horrific cinematic scenarios with twisted glee, casting real people in the lead roles.

In each episode, devious pranksters play friends and family, called targets, in hilariously twisted scenarios that blur the lines between reality, horror and comedy.

From a casual dinner party that takes an unexpectedly cannibalistic turn to a pair of newlyweds who are the proud new parents of something less than a human, the targets must make one unreal decision after another as the audience laughs, jumps and breathes asking for more.

Anyone can become a target, including WWE Superstars “The New Day,” when a seemingly mundane promotional opportunity with Cody Rhodes turns into a terrifying paranormal event.

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods shared some of their experiences with fear in the second episode.
