Two men charged with attempted murder after Ladson shooting, three injured: BCSO

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) – Two men have been arrested and charged following an investigation into a shooting in the Ladson area that left three people injured in late July, Berkeley County Sheriff Duane Lewis said.

Demontae Trevon Jones, 23, was arrested Aug. 1. Donovan Demetri Reid, 24, was arrested Oct. 1 with the help of the U.S. Marshals Service.

According to Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office reports, Jones and Reid face six counts of attempted murder.

On July 31, officers responded to a shooting on Sundial Lane in the Ladson area of ​​Berkeley County. Berkeley County dispatch told officers that a caller on the phone claimed someone was shooting outside and that bullets had entered their apartment. When officers arrived on scene, they discovered that an adult and two juveniles had been struck by gunfire.

Both are being held at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center.
