Police in Spain are investigating a bizarre case of “paranormal abuse” after a woman claimed her ex-boyfriend hired a medium to scare her

A VALENCIA woman has accused her former partner of hiring a medium to move objects and furniture to intimidate her.

During a domestic violence investigation, the 41-year-old victim told police she was very scared and had to change her routine because she feared he would hurt her.

She also alleged that her ex-partner, who is accused of multiple assaults, told her several times that he was going to commit suicide and that he would “take someone with him” if she left him.

The woman said her boyfriend paid money to a medium to cause her distress.

She stated that she saw a painting “rise over the table on which it was standing and shortly thereafter fall to the floor.”

In another incident, she said she heard loud footsteps behind a wall, and a few minutes later her ex-partner showed up and said he had “a ghostly vision” of her recently deceased father.

During the alleged supernatural contact, the spirit said that if his daughter and the alleged perpetrator did not remain as a couple, “bad things would happen and she would die.”

The former friend claimed the apparition entered another room in his house, where a glass on a shelf was shattered and a bust was displaced.

On the shelf there was a photo of the woman with her father.

In September, the victim called police after finding her house upside down with a television and a vase on the floor and a doll placed in the entrance to her bedroom.

Police said nothing was stolen and there was no sign of a thief.

Her ex-partner was arrested for domestic violence and a restraining order was taken out against him.
