The Massachusetts State Police Academy graduation ceremony is held for the 90th Recruit Training Troop

BOSTON, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – A significant milestone for the State Police as they celebrate the graduation of the 90th Recruit Training Troop.

185 members of the 90th Mass. Recruit Training Troop. State Police will take their oath in front of family and friends and be sworn in as the state’s newest troopers.

The ceremony will take place on Wednesday morning at the DCU Center in Worcester.

After successfully completing an intensive 25-week training program at the state police academy, the officers will now begin their deployment at the Massachusetts State Police Barracks. They will continue their training for a few months before officially starting their new career.

Governor Maura Healey, Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll and Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell will all be in attendance and highlight the significance of the occasion.
