This is how you get a submachine gun early

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster brings zombie mayhem back to Willamette Parkview Mall. This remaster leaves many of the original’s oddities untouched and makes the game a smoother experience for newcomers. Frank West can discover all kinds of secrets hidden in the mall. Some of these secrets are fun Easter eggs, others are weapons and items that can make survival much easier.

Guns aren’t the best way to take out the massive hordes of zombies infesting the mall. However, they are useful when fighting the crazy psychopath bosses that can be found while exploring and tracking down cases. The submachine gun is a powerful firearm similar to an Uzi and features automatic fire. It can fire 100 times before Frank has to throw it off. It is a rare weapon that can only be found in hard-to-reach places. Luckily, there is one hidden in a very convenient location. Here you will find the submachine gun very early on Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster.

Former location of the submachine gun

After the first few sections of the game, Frank gets to know Jessie and Brad. Brad sets out to deal with a terrorist who is a potential suspect in the zombie outbreak. You can find the submachine gun this early before the first fight with Carlito. Exit the security room and enter the mall via the warehouse.

This area is called Paradise Plaza and you will visit it regularly as you travel back and forth to the security room. Frank must escort survivors through this area and advance the conspiracy by continuing the cases in the safe room. There is a shoe store called Shoekins When leaving the warehouse, immediately turn left.

The submachine gun is on the awning directly above the shop. Run to the right, past the camera, jewelry and children’s clothing store. Go halfway up the stairwell to the second floor. Halfway there, turn right and jump over the railing to climb onto the first awning. Stick close to the wall and walk past the box. Orange juice constantly appears next to this chest when you need healing. Walk back towards Shoekin’s via Paradise Plaza. Frank won’t fall off the narrow ledges. The submachine gun will be on its side above the store. It will respawn, So grab one whenever you’re around.
