Portions of I-90 are temporarily closed due to a crash late Tuesday evening

A nighttime accident resulted in serious damage to two vehicles in the northeast.

The accident occurred in the westbound lane of Interstate 90 near North East around 8:30 p.m.

Reports from the scene indicate that at least one semi-truck was struck from behind.

Both westbound lanes were closed while crews worked to clear the crash. Both lanes have now reopened.

It is not known whether anyone was injured.
