A&M police investigate burglary, someone films woman in the shower

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – The Texas A&M University Police Department is investigating a break-in and reports say someone used a cell phone to film a woman in the shower.

The incident occurred on Saturday, October 5, at the U Center Apartments on S College Avenue near Hensel Park.

The victim told police she was in the shower, saw a phone and realized she was being recorded. She screamed and the man fled the area.

According to police, this happened around 5 p.m. and there were no signs of forced entry into the apartment.

Anyone with information about this crime or other incidents is asked to contact the Texas A&M University Police Department at 979-845-2345.

Everyone is encouraged to:

• Secure your home’s doors and windows when you are home or leaving for the day.
• Secure valuables or take them with you if possible.
• If you notice or have any safety concerns, such as: If there are mechanical problems with doors or locks, report them to staff immediately.
• If you observe any suspicious activity, report it to the police immediately.
