RHOSLC’s Whitney Rose says ‘brave’ daughter Bobbie remains in intensive care

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City‘S Whitney Rose shares a health update about her 14-year-old daughter Bobbie.

“Thank you to everyone who continued to care for Bobbie Rose,” Whitney, 38, wrote via her Instagram Story on Tuesday, October 8. “We are still in the intensive care unit, but she is finally making progress.” . She still has a long way to go, so there are no official updates yet.”

The Bravo star thanked friends and fans who have supported her family, which includes her husband. Justin Roseand her 11-year-old son Brooks.

“Thank you for all your prayers, they are felt and they are working,” she continued. “Thank you for understanding our desire for privacy during this time, as you can imagine this has been very stressful. Bobbie is so brave and strong. Thank you to everyone here [at] Primary Children’s Hospital. You are all earth angels!”

Whitney first revealed in a social media post on Monday, October 7, that her eldest child — who she previously described as “resilient, talented, caring and responsible” — was taken to the ambulance due to a severe asthma exacerbation was taken to the intensive care unit.

Justin, 55, also shared an Instagram clip of Bobbie being loaded into an ambulance on a stretcher on Sunday, October 6, writing, “Thoughts and prayers for a little girl today.” She’s having trouble with the Breathing.”

Fans got to know Whitney and her family as she helped launch it The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City in November 2020. Since then, the jewelry designer has been giving Bravo cameras a glimpse into her family life — including her strong marriage to Justin.

“Look at how he has supported me with my own family, my father, my healing journey, just being a homemaker and starting my business [and] my children,” she exclusively gushed Us weekly in September 2023. “I mean, he supports me so much.”

Over the summer, Whitney and Justin avoided any reality TV drama by treating their two children to a special vacation before school resumed.

The family of four was able to experience life at sea by enjoying Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas cruise.

“Our newest adventure, a cruise in the Western Caribbean,” Whitney wrote via Instagram on July 1 after posing for a family photo. “I’m not a big cruiser but I have to say it was pretty incredible with this crew 🫶. Fun fact, we launched Sōl People from the Sea 🌊 ☀️#familyvacation #blessed #rhoslc #abundance.”
