Suspect identified in weekend highway shooting

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Columbus police have identified a suspect accused of shooting and wounding a person on I-70 over the weekend.

Officers were called to the area of ​​I-70 near Hamilton Road on the east side of the city on a report of a shooting.

One person was shot and taken to Grant Medical Center. Authorities said the victim was stable and expected to survive.

Police identified the suspect in this case as 31-year-old Donte Reynolds and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
