Fatal motorcycle accident on Interstate 90 near Bozeman | Condition

GALLATIN COUNTY, Mont. – A fatal motorcycle accident occurred in the early morning hours of Oct. 8 on Interstate 90 near mile marker 317, near the Trail Creek Road exit.

The Gallatin County Coroner’s Office and Montana Highway Patrol responded to the scene. The motorcyclist, who was the only one involved in the accident, was taken to Bozeman Health Deaconess Regional Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.

Medics determined the cause of death was blunt force trauma and officials believed it was an accident.

Sheriff Dan Springer expressed his deepest condolences to the victim’s family and friends during this difficult time.
