Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Buds Pro 2 are being removed from Google Home

Since launch, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 and Pixel Watch 3 have appeared in the Google Home app, but this is not intentional.

Update 08.10: Google has removed the Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Buds Pro 2 from the Home app on Android and iOS. This is a server-side update, but version 3.24 was also widely distributed this week.

Original 10/4: If you own these two wearables, you may see them in the Devices tab in the Linked to You section (scroll all the way down). Tapping a tile takes you to a device settings page that shows the device is “Connected via: Google Find My Device” and has the option to unlink it

Google tells us today that “the Google Home app does not support Find My Device and our teams are working to resolve this to avoid further confusion.” Specifically, the Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Buds Pro 2 tiles are being removed. You should use the Find My Device app to find devices.

Pixel Buds Pro 2 is part of the Find My Device network and now supports Sony headphones. Therefore, Google Nest devices can be used to locate things and give them an approximate location.

FMD network support for Wear OS devices is not confirmed, but it would make sense. My Google Home app only shows the Pixel Buds Pro 2 and not the Pixel Watch 3.
