The Russians are sending attack groups to Robotyne in the Zaporizhia region

Southern Defense Forces spokesman Vlad Voloshyn said this on television when asked how intense the fighting was in the area, Ukrinform reports.

“Counter-battery battles are currently taking place here, so far there have been no massive enemy attacks. However, we assume that they are likely to begin in the near future, since the enemy is already moving its strike groups to the front and conducting personnel training, reconnaissance and so-called reconnaissance and search operations there,” he said.

According to Voloshin, the Russian Federation is attacking this area with artillery, army and attack aircraft, unguided air missiles and drones.

The spokesman said that the enemy was successful near Vuhledar and is now trying to regroup its forces and assets, prepare for further offensive operations and continue them on the so-called Robotynsky ledge.

When asked whether so-called “bonsai attacks” (attempts to break through to gain a foothold) were registered in the area of ​​responsibility, Voloshin noted that there were no such cases in their direction.

According to him, there were no active hostilities in the Kherson and Prydniprovia directions for about ten days. But in two days the Russian Federation has carried out six to seven strikes there and continues to conduct strike operations.

At the same time, the spokesman said that no large offensive groups are preparing in the southern part of Ukraine: “At the moment, no preparations of large offensive groups in our direction have been detected.” But the enemy is preparing for offensive operations with small infantry groups. As for the heavy armored vehicles, the enemy has them, but no deployment in this direction has been recorded so far.”

Regarding the replenishment of the exchange fund, Voloshin noted that a certain number of Russians are being captured on their side of the front.

According to reports, Russian troops are preparing new attacks on the Orichiv and Robotyne directions in the Zaporizhia region.
