According to his agency, Dodgers pitcher Walker Buehler had his watch stolen last month while attending the horse races at Santa Anita Park.

Buehler and his wife were walking back to their seats at the Los Angeles County Racecourse when he “unknowingly became the victim of the theft of his watch,” Excel Sports Management said in a statement. Arcadia police confirmed that two people had their watches stolen while walking through crowds at the venue on September 28, and the thefts remain under investigation.

“We are grateful that Walker and McKenzie were not injured and Walker is focused on the playoffs,” his agency said in a statement.

According to police, there was a third attempted theft on the same day. Someone tried to “hug” the victim and then a second person began to take the watch from him, a police statement said.
