14-year-old girl and two adults injured in shooting in Fairfield Monday evening

FAIRFIELD, Ala. (WBRC) – Three people were injured in a shooting in Fairfield Monday evening.

Just before 10 p.m., Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of people in the 500 block of 66th Street North.

At the scene, officers found two victims, a 21-year-old man and a 14-year-old girl. Both were transported to UAB Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

It was also determined that a third man was transported by private vehicle to a local hospital with an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
