Man wanted for stabbing woman in Jackson home

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A man is wanted in connection with a fatal stabbing in Jackson.

On Sept. 23, 58-year-old Margaret Washington, mother of three sons, was found dead with multiple stab wounds in her bedroom at the Exchange Drive home.

On Tuesday, the Jackson Police Department issued an arrest warrant for 40-year-old Anthony Jerome Bunzy in connection with the murder.

According to JPD, Bunzy is known to frequent the south corridor of Interstate 55 and the Cooper Road area.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the undersigned detective or Jackson Police Department.
