Shooter wanted after shooting employee during robbery in North Philly – NBC10 Philadelphia

Police in Philadelphia have released surveillance video in hopes of identifying a man who officials say robbed a supermarket and fired a shot at a worker during an Oct. 6, 2024, robbery.

According to police, the incident occurred on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at approximately 10:44 p.m. when a masked man entered the employee area of ​​the Emira Convenience Store on the 2600 block of North 27th Street and pointed a gun at the store clerk.

Police released surveillance video of the incident on social media.

During the robbery, the employee fled the store and the gunman shot in the direction of the clerk, according to officials.

However, the shot missed and police officials said no one was injured in the incident.

According to police, the gunman took money from the store’s cash register and from a box of cash before leaving the store eastbound on Lehigh Avenue.

Police have described the shooter as wearing black clothing and gray and white sneakers during the incident, as well as wearing orange gloves and possessing a black firearm with a brown handle.
