Authorities name person in fatal two-vehicle crash in Jackson County

ALBION TOWNSHIP, Wis. (WEAU) – Authorities are releasing the name of the person killed in a two-vehicle crash in Jackson County.

The victim is identified as 80-year-old Mary Ladwig of Galesville.

According to a press release from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 12:02 p.m. on October 6, 2024, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident on County Road C in the town of Albion.

When officers arrived, they found two damaged vehicles at the intersection of two county roads, the release said.

According to the press release, there were several occupants in one of the vehicles. Most of the occupants were reportedly injured. One of the passengers died at the scene of the accident.
