Innocent woman killed by stray bullet outside Kensington store: police

More gun violence occurred overnight in Philadelphia, this time killing an innocent bystander.

The fatal shooting stemmed from a fight between men inside a store on Kensington Avenue that then spread outside.

According to police, one of the men fired into a crowd, hitting a woman standing nearby with a stray bullet.

MORE HEADLINES:

Officers found the woman on the sidewalk, shot in the chest. She was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Her identity has yet to be revealed, but she is said to be in her 20s.

The police are still looking for the suspected shooter.
