Man charged with child rape – ButlerRadio.com

A Saxonburg man was booked into the Butler County Jail for allegedly raping a child.

Penn Township police received a Childline report in August and began investigating that 48-year-old Michael Saunders had sexually abused a child under the age of 14.

According to the criminal complaint, Saunders touched the child “in a way that (the child) did not want.” Then, a year later, they say the Saunderses raped the child.

Saunders is charged with multiple charges, including rape and aggravated assault on a child. He was able to post $500,000 bail.
