Man seriously injured in stabbing at Ringwood Hall Hotel

A man is in hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed at a hotel in Derbyshire.

Officers were called to the Ringwood Hall Hotel in Chesterfield at around 11.45pm BST on Friday.

Derbyshire Police said a man in his 50s suffered stab wounds after being attacked by three men.

A teenage man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a Class A drug and has since been released on bail.

Police said the parties involved were known to each other and that witnesses or anyone with information had asked to contact police.
